We worked with Shane Pierson through Koru K9 in Seattle Washington. Our Aussie was about 5 years old at the time with some major food aggression issues that would not allow us to leave her with anyone. We were hesitant at first to commit to 6 weeks away with our girl but Shane made the transition seamless and ensured that every week he was communicating what was going on with photos, videos, and phone calls. Coming out of the 6 weeks we also got to learn all the tools he had instilled in her in our own house to ensure that we can continue on with the training. I will say its made a HUGE impact on our day to day lives and has helped us create a more stable environment for our dog and ourselves with what she learned with Shane. I would highly recommend if you are on the fence to do it, we keep thinking to ourselves she is only 5 years old and has so much life ahead of her.
